The next gathering of the Arizona Friendship Circle will be on Sunday, August 10th at Forest Road 144 among the pines upon the Mongollon Rim. There will also be camping for those interested, the night of August 9th
Kit Whatley, who is a teacher at the Hopi High School, will be speaking about Hopi spiritual, and cultural customs.

What: Arizona Friendship Circle Gathering

When: Sunday, August 10th 2016, 11am – 3pm

Where: Forest Rd 144 off Route 260 West., north of Strawberry, AZ. Directions are included below.

Lunch: Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy.

We will be gathering outdoors. Bring a chair and dress appropriately for the sun and weather conditions. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy during the break as restaurants and other facilities are not available nearby.

Driving Directions: From Payson, take Hwy 87 north through Pine and Strawberry. At the intersection with Hwy 260, turn left, and continue to Forest Road 144. Take a right turn onto FR 144 and look for the gathering. Alternately, those traveling from Prescott or Phoenix’s West Valley may find it easier to travel via I-17, taking Hwy 260 through Camp Verde to the meeting site at FR 144. Forest service and highway maps are attached with an emblem indicating the gathering location.

The Circle is not limited to any particular spiritual tradition. As each embodies the essential truth of their way, we meet upon the common ground that honors our interconnectedness. All who are genuinely interested in helping Mother Earth and its inhabitants in a natural way are welcome to participate.
